How This Tool Works
The Child Height Predictor utilizes a scientifically recognized method called the Mid-Parent Height calculation. This approach estimates your child's potential adult height range by averaging and adjusting for the heights of both parents.
It does not provide a single, fixed number. Instead, it calculates a statistically probable range (often within plus or minus two standard deviations) that accounts for genetic variability. The mid-parent method is based on the idea that your child's genetics are derived from both sides.
When you input the parents' heights and, optionally, the child’s current measurements (if available), the calculator processes this data to give you a reliable genetic estimate. Remember, this is an educational tool designed for general planning and discussion with healthcare professionals.
